Senior Digital Solutions Manager – Mobile Apps

We are looking for a Senior Digital Solutions Manager to lead the team responsible for defining and prioritizing mobile application capabilities. This role will serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, translating the product vision into actionable technical deliverables.

The successful candidate will partner closely with the Product Director to define functional requirements based on commercial objectives, business KPIs, and user needs. This position will lead three direct reports and oversee a React Native development team while providing hands-on technical contributions when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Prioritization

• Co-define the mobile app vision, roadmap, and feature priorities with the Product Director.
• Align product capabilities with business objectives, including customer acquisition, retention, monetization, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications and user stories.
• Support the development of business cases by assessing ROI, effort, and potential impact.
• Apply product prioritization frameworks such as RICE, ICE, and Kano.

Technology and Vendor Assessment

• Evaluate technologies, platforms, and external vendors.
• Conduct research, comparative analyses, and pilot tests.
• Recommend the most effective technical and financial solutions based on business requirements.
• Assess scalability, performance, integration, security, and operational considerations.

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and supervise the mobile development team, primarily working with React Native.
• Provide direct technical contributions when required.
• Monitor technical quality and key performance indicators, including crash rates, application performance, and load times.
• Oversee integrations between the mobile application and back-end systems.
• Promote technical practices that improve reliability and the overall user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Six or more years of experience in mobile development.
• Two to three years of experience leading technical or development teams.
• Previous experience working closely with product and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements—and technical concepts into clear business terms.
• Experience in a hybrid role such as Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Engineering Manager.
• Experience with high-volume mobile applications, users, or transactions.
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of React Native and/or Flutter.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with back-end platforms and services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Digital Transformation, Cloud Computing, Digital Project Management, Solution Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience in telecommunications, fintech, or another regulated industry with high transaction volumes.
• Demonstrated experience leading feature launches with measurable impact on business KPIs.
• Exposure to user research and UX research methodologies to inform product decisions.
• Knowledge of mobile application security, data protection, compliance, and PCI requirements.
