Senior Director, Project/Program Management

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Project/Program Management to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will guide complex cross-functional programs from late-stage clinical development through commercial launch in a highly regulated environment. The role will focus on aligning execution plans, resource decisions, and risk management across scientific, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders. It will also partner closely with senior leadership to keep priorities clear, support scenario planning, and ensure program strategies translate into disciplined execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $214,000 – $292,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program teams through late-stage clinical development and commercial launch
• Drive development of key program documentation and ensure clarity in execution plans
• Manage risk and scenario planning specific to gene therapy development
• Ensure alignment between program milestones and resource allocations across teams
• Integrate commercialization strategies into late-stage development planning
• Communicate program status and decisions to senior leadership effectively
• Support regulatory strategy execution for gene therapy programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or medical discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of Program/Project Management experience in biotech/biopharmaceuticals
• Hands-on experience in gene therapy or biologics, with knowledge of regulatory challenges
• Experience leading successful commercial product launches
• Prior mentoring experience in program management
