Senior Draftsman

• Prepare, develop, and revise detailed architectural, structural, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Review construction plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and site coordinators regarding drawing revisions, design changes, and technical concerns.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual construction progress and approved site modifications.
• Develop detailed working drawings, layout plans, sections, elevations, and construction details for residential and commercial building projects.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with approved plans, engineering standards, building codes, and company quality requirements.
• Monitor and manage drawing revisions, ensuring that the latest approved plans are properly documented and distributed to concerned personnel.
• Provide technical drafting support to project engineers and the construction team to resolve drawing discrepancies and site-related issues.
• Check the accuracy of drawings prepared by junior draftsmen and provide technical guidance, corrections, and recommendations.
• Maintain an organized filing system for soft copies and hard copies of drawings, plans, and other technical documents.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, quantity estimates, and other technical documents based on approved drawings, when required.
• Meet project deadlines and ensure timely submission of drawings for approval, implementation, and construction purposes.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
