Senior Duty Team Lead

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing operations at the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Fire Command Centre, ensuring effective monitoring and incident response. The role supports law enforcement efforts by liaising with ministries, statutory boards, and government agencies. Provides mobile supervisory coverage, responding promptly to security and fire incidents while coordinating with relevant authorities. Also supports operational continuity by backfilling the Security Executive role when required and contributes to team capability through training and mentoring of junior security personnel.

Job Description

Security Monitoring and Incident Management

• Monitor premises to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors, taking proactive measures to prevent incidents and address concerns.
• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all safety and security systems in the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Fire Command Centre (FCC).
• Respond to, document, and report all incidents promptly.
• Enforce house rules and ensure that no prohibited items are brought into the living domain.

Supervisory Duties

• Perform supervisory visits and clocking patrols for all sites under respective sector.
• Provide oversight on daily operations and during incident management.
• Assist in providing coverage during the absence of Security Executives.

Administrative and Reporting Duties

• Ensure proper documentation of all journals, registers, and reports.
• Assist in reporting general defects and operational issues.
• Interact with residents to obtain feedback on living conditions and areas of concern.
• Attend to enquiries from clients and employers after office hours

Special Duties and Support

• Assist with enrolment duties during non-business hours.
• Assist in isolation/sick bay cases.
• Assist in conducting security related exercises.
• Provide support during VIP visits, shows, sports activities, and other special events.
• Back-fill during critical manpower shortfalls.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum ‘N’ Level or equivalent (Candidates who do not meet this academic qualification but have extensive experience will be considered)
• Valid PRD Security License and PWM Grade Security Supervisor certification
• Preferably trained in CERT, First Aid & AED
• Able to work 12-hours rotating shifts
• Basic computer literacy with good written and spoken English
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferably with own transport
• Prior experience in migrant workers dormitory or managing large groups preferred
