About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Consultant / Developer for a contract opportunity supporting a major Australian Government organisation.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing, configuring, developing and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, with particular emphasis on Customer Service Enterprise, Sales, Customer Insights/Marketing and Contact Centre capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable CRM solutions, integrations, automation and platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
• Work across Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights/Marketing and Contact Centre.
• Design and implement CRM integrations, APIs and business process automation.
• Support Microsoft Copilot integration initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Apply Microsoft best practices for CRM architecture, security and governance.
• Prepare technical designs, specifications and solution documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, estimates and delivery support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum 4 years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM configuration, development and support.
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service and Customer Insights/Marketing.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Contact Centre / Customer Service or equivalent enterprise contact centre platforms.
• Strong understanding of CRM data models, security roles, business process flows, forms, views and workflows.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 integrations, APIs, Azure services and data management.
• Proven ability to design and implement CRM solutions and automate business processes.
• Experience preparing solution designs, technical specifications and as-built documentation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft best practices, governance frameworks and security controls.
• Experience estimating, planning and leading technical workstreams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira.

Desirable Skills

• Power BI reporting and analytics.
• Customer experience (CX) and service management frameworks.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.

Eligibility

• Australian citizenship is required.
• NV1 security clearance is preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Canberra or Melbourne.
