We are looking for a technically strong Senior E&I / Automation Engineer to take ownership of Instrumentation, Electrical, Automation, Maintenance and Commissioning activities for an industrial process plant in Senegal, West Africa.

Position Details

Position: Senior E&I / Automation Engineer
Location: Senegal, West Africa
Experience: 10–15 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation / Electrical / Automation Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Lead E&I, automation and plant maintenance activities.
• Handle installation, erection, testing and commissioning of E&I systems.
• Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLC – S7-1500/1200/400/300/200.
• Develop PLC logic, interlocks and equipment control sequences.
• Manage SCADA/WinCC systems and automation interfaces.
• Handle process instrumentation including flow, level, pressure, temperature, control valves and analyzers.
• Manage MCC/PCC, VFDs, soft starters, transformers, UPS and DG systems.
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Conduct RCA, TPM, 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, production and project teams.
• Manage contractors, manpower and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and quality standards.

Candidate Profile

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in E&I / Instrumentation / Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and plant automation.
• Experience in industrial/process plant maintenance and commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting and project execution capabilities.
• Experience in metals, mining, chemical, cement, gypsum or other process industries will be relevant.
• International/overseas experience will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in Senegal, West Africa.
