This is a team member position in the K 12 education sector for South Asia. The Senior Editor Social Science will be responsible for high-quality education content development and publishing in curriculum K-12 in line with Indiannica brand.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Curriculum mapping and competition analysis

• To be responsible for analyzing curriculum and ensure that the Indiannica books are mapped to the said curriculum

• To carry out in-depth competition analysis and provide insights to stakeholders in order to be competitive in the market

Development editing & compliance to house style

• To be responsible for development editing of manuscript of titles or series assigned by reporting manager

• To ensure that all the edits are in compliance with Indiannica house-style

• To implement the stylesheet for a book during typesetting and layout

Liaising with authors, vendors & freelancers

• To interact with authors, freelancers, and vendors for project related work

• To ensure that they deliver contents and services on time with the expected quality

Adherence to timelines, processes and workflows

• To ensure that the production cycle follows established processes and workflows

• To strictly follow timeline and schedule to meet the production deadlines with the expected quality

Developing digital resources in conjunction with PT team

• To work on the development of digital resources

• To interact and work closely with PT team to ensure the seamless delivery of digital resources

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
