Responsibilities

• Write and publish approximately one original digital article per day covering entertainment news, premieres, finales, schedules, casting, franchises, and programming.
• Create evergreen content such as recommendations, what-to-watch guides, explainers, and franchise features.
• Edit, update, fact-check, and optimize articles for accuracy, clarity, structure, voice, relevance, and SEO.
• Develop compelling headlines, subheads, search-intent-driven structures, keyword targeting, internal links, and other content optimizations.
• Collaborate with editorial and cross-functional stakeholders, manage shifting priorities and deadlines, identify content opportunities, and use AI-assisted tools where appropriate.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a digital editor, writer, journalist, or comparable role, preferably within entertainment, television, streaming, movies, or pop culture.
• Excellent writing, editing, copy-editing, headline-writing, research, fact-checking, and editorial judgment skills.
• Experience editing other writers, providing actionable feedback, and producing accurate, engaging content in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Working knowledge of SEO, search-intent-driven content strategy, audience insights, search trends, and content performance data.
• Experience with WordPress or comparable CMS platforms, Google Docs, collaborative editorial workflows, and AI-assisted content tools; strong organizational and project management skills.
