  • Cultivate an improvement culture across all projects for a healthy, safe, and accident-free working environment.

High-Risk Construction Controls

  • Manage or support permit-to-work governance for high-risk activities.
  • Verify permits, proficiency records, risk assessments, equipment certificates, rescue plans, and emergency controls before work begins.
  • Conduct field verification to ensure approved controls are implemented and remain effective.

Incident Prevention and EHS Performance

  • Lead or support investigations of construction incidents, injuries, near misses, property damage, and high-potential events.
  • Determine causes and verify the efficiency of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare construction EHS reports, risk summaries, important metric updates, and management presentations.
  • Facilitate project EHS meetings, contractor safety engagement campaigns, and lessons-learned reviews.

Regulatory, Audit, and Project Transition

  • Support regulatory submissions, inspections, notifications, and compliance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, and Micron EHS requirements.
  • Participate in audits and track findings through closure.
  • Support equipment and tool-installation safety evaluations, commissioning, EHS readiness checks, and project handover.
  • Capture project lessons learned for future controls.

Site EHS Operations and Future Deployment

  • Support site occupational safety and contractor safety initiatives.
  • Perform workplace inspections, audits, risk evaluations, and compliance checks.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training, contractor orientation, safety communications, and awareness programs.
  • Provide operational EHS coverage during project ramp-down, resource gaps, or changing business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.

  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in construction EHS, industrial projects, semiconductor facilities, infrastructure, greenfield, or brownfield projects.

  • Experience in field inspections, audits, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action management.

  • Strong contractor-management, field-leadership, communication, stakeholder-coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive, diligent, and willing to transition into operational EHS responsibilities following project completion or based on business needs.

  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and guidelines.

  • Excellent hazard identification and risk assessment skills.
