Senior Environment, Health & Safety Executive

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced EHS professional to oversee workplace safety, environmental compliance and health standards across operational and project sites. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, customers and external authorities to ensure safe operations, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of EHS practices.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Oversee day-to-day EHS activities and ensure workplace practices comply with Singapore WSH legislation and company requirements.
• Maintain and support management systems aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and BizSafe standards.
• Carry out site inspections, workplace audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Review safety-related documents including Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit-to-Work applications.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure contractors comply with established safety requirements and procedures.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare incident documentation and submit reports to the relevant authorities where required.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, certification audits and internal/external EHS assessments.
• Track audit findings and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed within the required timeline.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, training sessions, emergency drills and awareness programmes.
• Monitor EHS performance, maintain statutory records and prepare regular reports for management.
• Work with customers, contractors, service providers, authorities and internal stakeholders on safety and environmental matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety standards, operational practices and overall EHS performance.
• Support other EHS-related administrative and operational duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant EHS experience, ideally within logistics, manufacturing, industrial or operational environments.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and BizSafe requirements.
• Practical experience in safety audits, incident investigation, risk management and contractor safety management.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and report-writing capabilities.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate with different departments.
