Senior Electrical Delivery Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Delivery Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This role will support critical electrical delivery efforts for complex facilities and infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on installation verification, commissioning, and safe energization. The engineer will partner closely with project teams, contractors, and technical stakeholders to validate that systems are built and turned over in alignment with design intent and operational requirements. This position also plays an important role in identifying risks, strengthening documentation, and helping drive consistent standards across demanding, high-stakes environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Verify installed electrical systems against design specifications and standards
• Identify and document installation deficiencies and operational risks
• Review construction test results and witness acceptance testing processes
• Develop and review electrical safety controls and energization plans
• Troubleshoot electrical issues involving critical equipment
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Validate documentation prior to operational handoff

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems for critical facilities such as data centers and utilities
• Solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems
• Ability to interpret complex electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams and test reports
• Hands-on experience with commissioning and operational turnover of electrical systems
• Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and industry standards such as NEC and NFPA 70E
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure and effective communication with diverse teams
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
