Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000

Renewyx is representing a well-established, large scale energy company with a growing clean energy division delivering commercial & Utility solar and combined heat and power (CHP) projects across multiple states. They are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead and manage a technical team in the execution of engineering and construction RFPs and the delivery of multiple commercial solar and CHP projects. Project sizes range from 2MW to 150MW, with capital values up to $150M, and you will typically oversee one to four concurrent projects at a time, including direct oversight of onsite project management staff. Responsibilities include managing EPC agreement negotiation, overseeing construction activities with EPC contractors, landlords, and tenants, reviewing and approving electrical and construction engineering plans, and overseeing commissioning, permitting, and interconnection processes.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• 6+ years of experience leading engineering and construction teams, including direct experience on solar, power, or energy project implementations
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience overseeing EPC contractors, construction schedules, and project budgets across multiple concurrent projects
• Experience negotiating and managing EPC agreements across clean energy platforms
• Experience reviewing and approving electrical and construction engineering plans
• PE license and/or PMP certification preferred, though not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Proficiency in MS Office
