Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in the construction industry to oversee the planning, design, installation, and implementation of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects. The role requires technical leadership, site coordination, and strict compliance with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical works for construction projects (commercial, residential, or industrial)
• Review and approve electrical plans, shop drawings, layouts, and technical submittals
• Ensure electrical installations comply with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), local ordinances, and project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, civil/mechanical engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and resolve on-site technical issues
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and turnover of electrical systems
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation
• Manage manpower, materials, and schedules related to electrical works
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOLE requirements, and company policies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site electricians

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, grounding, fire alarm, and auxiliary systems
• Familiarity with construction methods, site coordination, and project sequencing
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical design or documentation tools
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to be assigned to project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling high-rise buildings or hotel is an advantage.
• Background in project management or site engineering roles
• Knowledge of cost estimates, BOQs, and value engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month
