The Role

A hands-on, board-level electrical engineering role where you will:

• Architect high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and RF-supporting PCBs for next-generation edge-sensing platforms.
• Design schematics and high-density, multi-layer layouts in Altium Designer.
• Implement high-speed serial interconnects including PCIe, JESD204, multi-gigabit Ethernet, and high-bandwidth memory busses.
• Collaborate closely with FPGA, DSP, and firmware specialists to define hardware bring-up hooks, clocking trees, and power sequencing.
• Perform bench bring-up, signal integrity validation, and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers in your lab.
• Drive DFM/DFT, vendor fabrication handoffs, and rapid design revisions based on test-range feedback.

The Essential Requirements

• US Citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
• Demonstrable experience designing and routing high-speed digital, mixed-signal, or embedded microprocessor/FPGA carrier boards.
• Proven ability to execute both schematic capture and hands-on PCB layout (Altium Designer preferred).
• Hands-on proficiency with benchtop lab tools for board bring-up, debugging, and power rail qualification.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Direct exposure to AMD/Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+, RFSoC, or high-pin-count programmable logic platforms.
• Familiarity with RF transceivers, SDR architectures, or multi-sensor phased/acoustic arrays.
• Cross-domain agility: comfortable running basic Python/C test scripts or designing rapid 3D-printed bench enclosures.
