Role Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, review, and coordination of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and validating electrical designs, drawings, and specifications; performing load calculations and system studies; and overseeing power distribution and lighting layouts. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary project teams, site supervisors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and support installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The Senior Electrical Engineer will also participate in project planning, cost estimation, and value engineering, while ensuring adherence to safety, sustainability, and quality guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, including electricity and applied electrical engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in electrical design and layout development for building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with power distribution systems, including low- and medium-voltage networks.
• Knowledge of power systems analysis, protection coordination, and load flow considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Several years of relevant experience in engineering consulting, contracting, or construction, preferably in the Middle East.
• Familiarity with international and local electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, local authority regulations).
• Proficiency with design and calculation software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools).
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and safety.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders on-site.
