Job Summary

Noesis Service Consultant is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to independently manage electrical design deliverables, technical reviews, and coordination across building-services projects. Candidates should have strong experience in MEP design consultancy, building electrical systems, and multidisciplinary project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, small power, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Prepare and review electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Distribution Board (DB) schedules.
• Develop electrical layouts, equipment schedules, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Review design drawings for technical accuracy, code compliance, and coordination with other MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, structural consultants, and other engineering teams.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues.
• Guide junior engineers and review their drawings and calculations.
• Monitor design deliverables and ensure timely submission of drawings and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an MEP design consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, power distribution networks, and lighting design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP and electrical design software will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with applicable IS standards, National Building Code (NBC) requirements, and relevant electrical codes.
• Strong technical, communication, coordination, and team management skills.

Specific Industry Requirements

Target Companies / Industry Background:

• Nirmantu: Candidates with relevant experience in electrical design, building services, or MEP consultancy projects.
• MAK: Candidates with relevant experience in electrical engineering design, MEP coordination, and building-services projects.
• MEP Design Consultancies: Candidates with proven experience in electrical design for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or other building projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates currently working in MEP design consultancies or building-services engineering firms.
• Experience in electrical design, calculations, drawings, technical reviews, and coordination with HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams.
• Candidates with end-to-end electrical design experience rather than only site execution, maintenance, or installation experience.
• Experience handling projects independently and coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Note: Candidates from Nirmantu and MAK should be shortlisted based on their actual electrical design responsibilities and relevant MEP project experience, not company name alone.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
