Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical system designs for stackers, reclaimers, and shiploaders, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using MicroStation or AutoCAD design software.
• Perform power system analysis, drive system integration, and automation design for bulk material handling machines.
• Collaborate with mechanical and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure designs align with Australian electrical standards, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.

About You:

You are a detail-oriented and innovative electrical design engineer with expertise in bulk material handling and rail-mounted machinery. Your qualifications and experience include:

• 7–10 years of experience in electrical design, specifically for stackers, reclaimers, shiploaders, and rail-mounted machines.
• Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD for electrical system design.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, motor controls, automation, and PLC integration.
• Experience ensuring electrical systems meet industry safety and reliability requirements.
• Ability to optimize designs for efficiency and ease of maintenance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
