We are looking for experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to join our Construction Supervision team in Jordan, providing remote technical support to projects across the Middle East.

The role will focus primarily on the review of technical submittals and design documentation, ensuring that contractor submissions are aligned with approved designs, project requirements and relevant technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical technical submittals, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Review contractor design proposals and design changes against approved design documentation and project requirements.
• Review electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems and associated building services.
• Identify design discrepancies, technical issues and potential clashes within contractor submissions.
• Review BIM models and multidisciplinary information using BIM and Navisworks.
• Coordinate technical comments with other engineering disciplines to support an integrated review process.
• Review responses to RFIs and other technical queries related to electrical design and installation.
• Support the wider Construction Supervision team with technical reviews throughout the project delivery stage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years of Middle East experience, particularly within UAE, Saudi Arabia and/or Qatar.
• Previous experience at Senior Engineer level or above.
• Strong experience in construction supervision and design/submittal review.
• Experience reviewing contractor shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in BIM and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary building services coordination.
• Ability to work effectively within a remote technical review and supervision environment.
