Senior Electrical Engineer (M&E Consultancy)

We are an established M&E consultancy firm in Puchong Selangor seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical engineering design and project coordination for a variety of developments including high-rise buildings, industrial infrastructure, and factory projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical building services design for commercial and residential high-rise developments.
• Handle industrial land M&E infrastructure works and factory projects.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants for design integration.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with local authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies for submissions and approvals.
• Provide site support and coordination during construction stages.
• Conduct technical meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian codes, standards, and authority requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in M&E consultancy or building services engineering.
• Experience in commercial and residential high-rise projects, factories, or industrial developments.
• Familiar with authority submission procedures and project coordination in Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems design including LV/MV distribution, lighting, earthing, and building services integration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of BIM/Revit is an added advantage).
• Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
• Candidates with Professional Engineer (PE/Ir.) certification will have an added advantage.
