A well-established Construction & Contracting Company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and manage the Electrical/MEP team.

Position: Senior Electrical Engineer / MEP Team Leader

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Electrical/MEP engineering and site team.

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor electrical works from execution through testing and handover.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors, and other MEP disciplines.

• Ensure all electrical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.

• Supervise testing, commissioning, inspections, and final handover.

• Manage DEWA inspections, approvals, connections, and handover requirements.

• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, and other relevant UAE authorities' regulations and requirements.

• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and technical issues.

• Lead the team and ensure works are completed within the required time, quality, and safety standards.

• Attend technical meetings and coordinate effectively with consultants and project management teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience, preferably with a main contracting company.

• Strong experience in MEP construction and site management.

• Proven experience in leading and managing an Electrical/MEP team.

• Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations, requirements, inspections, and handover procedures.

• Good knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE electrical codes/standards.

• Experience with authority approvals, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including LV systems, MDB/SMDB/DB, lighting, power, emergency systems, earthing, fire alarm, ELV, and related MEP services.

• Ability to read and review electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.

• Strong coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities and priorities.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
