Senior Electrical Engineer (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

• Preparation of due diligence and feasibility reports
• Preparation of technical studies and evaluation reports
• Join technical clarification meetings and contract negotiations with clients and contractors
• Preparation of specifications for electrical systems of tenders
• Power Plant Design works: including preparation of single line diagrams, layouts, drawings
• Analyze (and potentially prepare) power system studies (load flow, short circuit, stability studies, dynamic simulations)
• Review of contractors’ design documents
• Support site erection and commissioning activities
• Perform site visits to observe project progress or evaluate the conditions of assets
• Monitor operational parameters of power plants or power grids
• Liaise with other technical specialists including specialists from Fichtner offices worldwide

Your Profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus on power plants or energy transmission/distribution
• At least eight (8+) years’ experience in the design or development of power plant or substation projects, preferably including experience in both renewable and conventional energy sector;
• Excellent understanding of main power plant equipment;
• Ability to perform as part of a team technical due diligence studies, feasibility studies and specifications of power plant and / or transmission projects
• First experience with project management tasks would be an asset
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent knowledge of English and Turkish; German or Arabic knowledge would be an asset
• Having an analytical mindset and being open to development
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel (within Turkey and abroad)
• Driving License: B (for Turkey)
