Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the design, analysis, and implementation of complex electrical systems, with a focus on power systems, high-voltage electrical infrastructure, and compliance with electrical building codes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in power system design, protection, and analysis, along with public utility experience. As a senior team member, you will lead technical projects, ensure adherence to industry standards, and contribute to innovative solutions using advanced modeling tools such as WinIGS Modeling and ETAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of power systems for various projects, ensuring efficient and reliable electrical infrastructure.
• Conduct comprehensive power systems analysis to optimize performance and safety across AC/DC electrical systems.
• Design and implement power system protection schemes to safeguard equipment and personnel.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical building codes and industry standards.
• Apply expertise in high-voltage electrical systems to support utility-scale projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Utilize WinIGS Modeling and ETAAP for system modeling, simulation, and analysis to support project planning and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with public utility providers to coordinate system integration and meet regulatory requirements.
• Review technical specifications, oversee installation processes, and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices within the organization.

Skills

• Proven experience in power system design, analysis, protection, and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building codes and standards relevant to large-scale electrical projects.
• PE License from any US states - Required.
• Public utility experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AC/DC electrical systems design and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in advanced modeling tools such as WinIGS Modeling and ETAAP for system simulation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex electrical issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and utility providers.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required or actively pursuing licensure.
