Senior Electrical Engineer, Power and Analog

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on power and analog circuit design within the Electrical Engineering team.
• Drive innovation through research, evaluation, and prototyping of emerging technologies.
• Develop and improve simulation, validation, and testing methodologies for power and analog systems.
• Design and develop analog circuits, power converters, amplifiers, and power supply solutions for electronic products.
• Design custom magnetic components for power conversion and amplification applications.
• Develop and execute engineering validation plans to ensure design quality, reliability, and performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, validation plans, and test reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including EMC, safety, and energy efficiency standards.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and external development/manufacturing partners.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and external engineering teams.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant industry experience, or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven hands-on experience owning analog and power electronics designs for high-volume products.
• Deep understanding of efficient power architecture and circuit design, including analysis and specification of magnetic components.
• Experience designing power amplifiers, motor drivers, or other high-performance analog/power electronic systems.
• Solid understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements for electronic products.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting capability, and system-level problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout review tools.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including project planning, schedule management, and technical mentoring.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, software, RF, compliance, manufacturing, sourcing, industrial design, and user experience teams.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and solve technical challenges.
• Ability to define and execute comprehensive validation and verification plans.
• Excellent technical communication and reporting skills.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and highly accountable.
• Experience using simulation and analysis tools to evaluate and optimize designs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ODM/JDM partners and external engineering teams.
• Background in embedded hardware design, including processors, memory, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and other digital interfaces.
• Experience with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power analyzers.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and certification processes.
• Experience with USB Power Delivery (USB-PD), Power over Ethernet (PoE), or related power technologies.
• Experience developing consumer electronics, industrial electronics, networking products, smart devices, or other connected systems.
• Familiarity with wireless communication technologies and embedded systems.
