THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead the financial forecasting, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparation for our commercial electrical construction projects. You will provide technical guidance, training and oversee junior estimators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and calculate labor hours, material costs and equipment pricing utilizing Accubid/Live Count/Bluebeam.
• Compile vendor and subcontract bids, manage the bidding timeline, and finalizing competitive proposal packages.
• Identify potential project risks and provide cost-saving value engineering options.
• Request quotes from our vendors and subcontractors and negotiate pricing to secure the best market rates.

REQUIREMENTS

• 7-10 years of direct cost Electrical Estimation/ Project Management.
• Strong foundation in math, data analysis and cost forecasting models.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex architectural drawings, technical plans, and specifications.
• Negotiate fair agreements with contractors, vendors and suppliers to protect profit margins.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Compensation based on experience level - $115K-$160K

Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
