Senior Electrical Product Engineer - Datacenter

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Product Engineer - Datacenter to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on electrical product development for datacenter environments, with an emphasis on high-speed systems, manufacturing readiness, and product quality. The engineer will partner closely with contract manufacturers and cross-functional technical teams to improve signal integrity, debug complex hardware interactions, and strengthen production outcomes. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence design-for-manufacturing practices, test strategy, and continuous improvement for advanced hardware products.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $270,250 annually

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop new diagnostic tests for next-generation products using high-speed networks
• Debug complex hardware, firmware, and software interactions on faulty boards during boot
• Ensure compliance with DFx requirements to optimize signal integrity and assembly processes
• Develop test specifications for manufacturing to meet hardware coverage and product quality standards
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define and optimize product assembly lines
• Analyze data and conduct experiments to address yield and testing challenges creatively
• Lead efforts on continuous improvement of production specifications to reduce waste and enhance efficiency

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of significant industry experience
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, specifically in digital design and signal integrity
• Proficient in statistics, timing analysis, fault analysis, and sampling techniques
• Knowledge of computer architecture
