Senior Electrical Project Manager

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Project Manager who will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout. This leadership role requires deep knowledge of electrical systems, a commitment to schedule and budget control, and the ability to lead field and office teams with confidence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multiple electrical projects of varying sizes across industrial and commercial sectors.
• Oversee preconstruction planning, estimating support, scope development, and client communications.
• Coordinate closely with field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and safety.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, material procurement, manpower needs, and change orders.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and complete, including submittals, RFIs, logs, and progress reports.
• Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teams.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and project engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 7 years of electrical project management experience.
• Proven experience managing projects in industrial, heavy commercial, or large-scale commercial, or healthcare environments.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (a plus)
• Design-build or design-assist experience
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and construction safety protocols.
• Skilled in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience also considered.
