Are you an experienced electrical engineer or technical professional looking to combine your engineering expertise with customer engagement, technical sales and business development?

This is an opportunity to combine your engineering expertise with customer engagement, technical sales, design and project support, working directly with customers to understand their requirements and develop practical, technically sound and commercially viable electrical solutions.

You'll be involved across engineering, design, estimating, technical sales and project support, providing practical and commercially viable electrical solutions while developing long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

This role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer or technically strong electrical professional who enjoys working directly with customers and wants to develop their career across both engineering and commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across electrical engineering and project services
• Consult with customers to understand technical, operational and project requirements
• Develop tailored electrical designs and technical solutions based on customer requirements
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, estimates and tender submissions

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Meeting with customers to understand their electrical infrastructure and project requirements
• Conducting site visits and assessing existing electrical systems and infrastructure
• Developing technical solutions based on site conditions, project requirements and budget
• Working across electrical infrastructure including HV, MV, LV, earthing, switchboards, generators, DRUPS and substations
• Supporting tendering and proposal activities from initial enquiry through to submission
• Working closely with Project Managers, engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions can be effectively delivered

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree, electrical trade qualification or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, technical sales, design or project delivery
• Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, power systems and electrical design principles
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or similar design platforms
