Senior Electronics Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of complex electronic products for harsh environments.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics and PCB layouts for high pressure / high temperature / harsh environment products
• Perform root cause analysis on system failures and troubleshoot electronics issues using tools like oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and debugging software.
• Collaborate with the team to define project scope, schedule milestones, and ensure timely delivery through effective project scheduling.
• Integrate firmware development if/when the team needs additional support
• Perform engineering testing on prototypes and final products to validate performance against specifications; document findings thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
• Extensive experience working with industrial products with a focus on electronics design and prototyping.
• Skilled in debugging complex electronics issues using tools like oscilloscopes and ohmmeters; capable of root cause analysis under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including soldering techniques and quality assurance practices for electronics assembly.
• Programming proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; excellent problem-solving skills are essential.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
