Senior Electronics Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Translate customer, marketing, and product requirements into technical specifications and hardware architecture, including preparation of block diagrams, PCBA specifications, and key design documents.
2. Take ownership of electronics development throughout the NPD lifecycle, ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept, prototyping, validation, to production release.
3. Develop schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware documentation, ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.
4. Build and evaluate hardware prototypes, perform circuit debugging, and work with firmware/software teams to validate product functionality.
5. Work with ODM partners, PCBA vendors, and component suppliers to review designs, clarify technical requirements, and ensure compliance with product specifications and cost targets.
6. Collaborate with PCBA vendors and production teams to optimize manufacturing efficiency, improve yield, and support production test hardware or fixture development.
7. Work closely with QA teams to prepare IQC requirements, PCBA specifications, and validation plans, ensuring smooth product qualification and reliability testing.
8. Support product certification by coordinating with qualification labs and certification bodies such as UL, TÜV, and Intertek.

Job Requirements

1. College or above with electronics \ mechatronics major
2. 3+ years of experience in electronics design and hardware development, preferably in consumer electronics or similar products.
3. Familiar with NPD development stages (e.g., EVT, DVT, PVT \ EP \ DVTP \ LPQ) and related engineering build and validation activities and experienced in working with ODM partners during product development
4. Ability to manage multiple NPD projects
5. Effective communication and teamwork
6. Analog and digital circuit design
7. AC (110 \ 220v) Operated Products
8. PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, DFM, DFT)
9. Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) from concept to production.
