Senior Electronics Engineer - EN

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Luxembourg.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting all phases of the electrical subsystem lifecycle for spacecraft platforms and robotics payloads, from concept definition to testing and validation
• Contributing to the development of spacecraft avionics and electrical systems, with a strong focus on robotics-related electronics
• Defining subsystem architectures, including power distribution, sensor architecture, and data interfaces
• Performing requirements engineering activities and generating technical equipment specifications
• Supporting supplier selection and subcontractor management for critical hardware deliverables
• Contributing to the in-house development of electronics boards
• Defining spacecraft and test harness requirements
• Supporting the definition, procurement, or development of EGSE equipment
• Performing commissioning, validation, and functional testing of electrical subsystems
• Analysing test results and supporting troubleshooting activities
• Defining and documenting electrical interface specifications
• Supporting spacecraft integration activities and executing functional and performance verification tests
• Contributing to software development activities related to testing and flight operations
• Acting as the technical point of contact for electrical subsystems with internal stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors
• Advising engineering teams on electrical topics such as EMC, grounding, charging, and power management
• Supporting the definition of validation, verification, and qualification test plans

Your Profile

• BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline related to aerospace or aviation applications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in avionics or electronics engineering within the space industry
• Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design, particularly for robotics and motor control systems
• Experience in specification, validation, and testing of electrical equipment
• Good knowledge of communication buses such as CAN, SpaceWire, and Ethernet
• Experience with the design and development of space-qualified electronic boards is considered a strong asset
• Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, instrumentation, and flight software
• Knowledge of embedded software development for commissioning and testing activities is a plus
• Understanding of EMC/EMI/ESD design constraints and mitigation techniques
• Experience with full product lifecycle development from concept to delivery
• Experience working with space standards such as ECSS or MIL standards
• Technical leadership capabilities and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; French B2 is considered an asset
