Senior Elv Design Engineer

• Develop reliable, scalable, and standards-compliant ELV system designs.

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, equipment schedules, and design deliverables.

• Prepare and review shop drawings, coordinated drawings, as-built drawings, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, schematics, and ELV layouts.

• Perform design validation, design verification, and drawing reviews in coordination with consultants and obtain approvals.

• Design and coordinate ELV systems including:

  • Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
  • Data & Voice Networks
  • CCTV Surveillance Systems
  • Access Control Systems (ACS)
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA)
  • Intercom Systems
  • Master Clock Systems
  • IPTV / SMATV / MATV
  • Audio Visual (AV) Systems
  • BMS Interfaces
  • Parking Management Systems

• Perform system sizing, cable routing, equipment selection, and technical coordination.

• Review and approve ELV drawings, BIM models, and shop drawings.

• Coordinate ELV designs with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ICT disciplines.

• Develop and coordinate detailed BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 400.

• Use Navisworks for clash detection, design coordination, and resolution of design conflicts.

• Extract BOQ, schedules, and technical information from BIM models to support project planning and execution.

• Participate in design reviews and client/consultant meetings.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

• Ensure project deliverables comply with project specifications, client requirements, applicable codes, and engineering standards.

• Support timely project delivery while maintaining design quality and coordination standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in ELV Design Engineering, preferably with strong exposure to BIM, multidisciplinary coordination, and large-scale construction projects.

• Strong experience in ELV Design Engineering and BIM Coordination.

• Excellent knowledge of ELV systems and multidisciplinary coordination.

• Proficiency in:

  • AutoCAD
  • Revit MEP
  • Navisworks

• Experience in preparing detailed design drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built documentation.

• Strong knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.

• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
