What you’ll do

• Own architecture of MCU firmware and AUTOSAR components.
• Discuss architecture internally and with customers.
• Design, implement and improve SWCs such as RTE, COM and PDU Routing including code generators, tests and documentation.
• Estimate effort, time and resources for the tasks of the domain and contribute to the sprint planning.
• Ensure that the team follows functional safety and quality processes.
• Mentor engineers.
• Review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, test and documentation.

What you need to be successful

• Expert in modern C++ for embedded firmware and drivers.
• Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts including RTE, communications, diagnosis and storage.
• Strong experience in a scripting language, Ruby is preferred.
• Experience in debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzer, protocol analyzers).
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded OS concepts.
• Comprehensive knowledge of functional safety.
• Ability to write clear requirements and user documentations.
• Experience in multi-core development.
• Experience with gtest and gmock for C++ unit tests

Nice to have

• Tricore, ARM and POSIX knowledge
• Knowledge of Bazel and CMake build systems
• Experience with Visual Studio Code and DevContainers
• Understanding of Git and GitHub workflows
• Experience with MISRA, CERT and other static code analysis standards
• Experience with Ruby
• Experience with Python and PyTest
• Experience with Sphinx and Sphinx-Needs
• Knowledge of security standards
