About the Role

Proxgy is looking for a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to lead electronics development for its detachable switch product. The role involves taking hardware from concept and prototyping through testing, validation, and mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define hardware architecture based on product requirements and mechanical constraints.
• Design and review schematics and PCBs for MCU-based embedded products.
• Select electronic components and manage BOMs.
• Develop and debug power supply circuits, relays, switches, and related electronic systems.
• Lead PCB prototyping, bring-up, functional testing, and hardware validation.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless product integration.
• Drive design for manufacturing (DFM), design for testing (DFT), and production readiness.
• Coordinate with PCB manufacturers, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
• Support EMI/EMC testing, BIS requirements, product certification, and compliance.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware design and electronics product development.
• Must have independently taken at least one hardware product from concept/prototype to mass production.
• Strong experience in schematic design, PCB design/review, component selection, and hardware debugging.
• Experience with MCU-based products, power supplies, relays, and switching circuits.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFT, and product validation.
• Experience working with firmware and mechanical engineering teams.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC, BIS, and product certification requirements.

Good to Have

Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi/RF, IoT devices, or consumer electronics product development.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on hardware engineer who can make independent design decisions, solve practical electronics challenges, and take a product from prototype to manufacturing.

Pay: ₹486,000.00 - ₹1,640,000.00 per year
