What they need

Position: Embedded Software Engineer

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Experience: 4–6 years in embedded software development, with strong RTOS or bare-metal experience.

Skills Required:

Programming: Strong C skills with working knowledge of C++ .

RTOS: Hands-on experience with Zephyr, FreeRTOS, ThreadX , or similar; knowledge of scheduling, synchronization, and interrupt-driven design.

MCU: Experience with MCU peripherals, datasheets, reference manuals, linker scripts, and startup code.

Linux: Familiarity with Embedded Linux user-space development and debugging across RTOS/Linux environments.

Connectivity: Knowledge of IP networking and interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, USB, and CAN .

Tools: Python scripting/automation and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.

Debugging: Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, and GDB for complex debugging.
