Location: Hauppauge, NY | Work: 100% Onsite | Salary: $106K–$142K + 12.5% Bonus

Type: Direct Hire/ Full time

Job Summary:

Seeking a senior embedded software engineer with 5+ years of experience developing embedded software in regulated environments , preferably aerospace or industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and verify embedded software using C and/or SCADE.
Develop requirements, design, coding, integration, and testing.
Perform software verification, traceability, and certification activities.
Work with hardware and systems teams on embedded control systems.
Lead projects from start to finish, managing execution and development ( 25% project management / 75% development ).

Requirements:

Strong C programming and microcontroller experience.
Experience with regulated software standards such as DO-178, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 50128, or IEC 62304 .
Project leadership experience.
BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Aerospace/industrial embedded experience preferred.
Experience with SCADE, DOORS/DNG, ARM, CANbus/ARINC/RS-232 is a plus.
