Senior EMS Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior EMS Architect to lead the architecture, design, integration, and technical implementation of Energy Management Systems (EMS) for electricity and renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electricity system operations, renewable energy management, and EMS architecture, preferably within critical telecom infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical design of Energy Management Systems (EMS).

• Develop system architecture, technical specifications, and integration requirements.

• Oversee EMS integration with power systems, renewable energy assets, SCADA, and other control and monitoring platforms.

• Analyze electricity system operations and develop solutions for efficient energy management.

• Provide technical leadership throughout system implementation, testing, commissioning, and deployment.

• Coordinate with engineering, operations, IT, and other technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Review system designs, technical documents, and project deliverables.

• Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Ensure EMS solutions meet project requirements, industry standards, and operational objectives.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and project teams.

Qualifications

• Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in electricity system operations and renewable energy management.
• At least 8 years of experience as an EMS System Architect in similar projects.
• Strong experience in EMS architecture, power systems, energy management, and system integration.
• Experience with telecom critical infrastructure EMS is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and electricity network operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in large-scale renewable energy or power management projects.
• Experience integrating EMS with SCADA, BMS, or other monitoring and control systems.
• Experience working with mission-critical or telecom infrastructure.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for energy management and power systems.
