About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Android Native / Full Stack Engineer to drive the end-to-end development, architecture, and performance of our core mobile ecosystem. In this role, you will take primary ownership of building robust, scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Java, while leveraging secondary iOS capabilities (Swift/SwiftUI) to ensure seamless cross-platform feature alignment. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences, optimize app performance, and maintain rock-solid production stability.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience specializing in native Android application development.

Deep expertise in Kotlin, Java, Coroutines, Flow, and modern UI toolkits (Jetpack Compose and traditional XML).

Working knowledge of native iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI to support mobile full-stack feature delivery.

Proven track record of publishing, maintaining, and scaling applications on the Google Play Store.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/Protocol Buffers, background threading, local persistence (Room/SQLite), and mobile security.

Experience with Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockk), dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger), and Git workflows.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Have

Experience setting up and managing mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Gradle scripting).

Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for shared cross-platform business logic.

Knowledge of backend API integration, GraphQL, or server-driven UI design patterns.

Understanding of Material Design guidelines, Android accessibility standards, and power management optimizations.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and modern Android SDKs.

Architect clean, modular, and testable codebases using scalable architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture).

Support cross-platform integration and shared feature logic by reading, maintaining, or contributing to Swift and SwiftUI codebases.

Manage production deployments, Google Play Store releases, release channels, and CI/CD automation pipelines.

Diagnose and resolve complex production crashes, memory leaks, ANRs (Application Not Responding), and network performance issues.

Optimize local storage, background processing, and offline synchronization strategies for high-scale app usage.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on client-side production incidents and implement proactive performance improvements.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹155,000.00 per month
