Senior Engineer – BRM/OCS

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Engineer to lead and maintain our enterprise billing ecosystem. In this role, you will own the end-to-end stability, operational health, and continuous optimization of our BRM platform. You will lead production deployment efforts, drive capacity planning, and play a pivotal architectural role in guiding our transition to BRM 15 and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM).
• Deep expertise in BRM core architecture, rating, discount configuration, billing cycles, invoicing, and collections.
• Proven track record managing production deployments, patch applications, and environment stability.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL for system operations and automation.
• Demonstrated experience in performance tuning, database interaction optimization, and batch job management.
• Solid understanding of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) concepts, cloud networking, and cloud migration strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Have

• Hands-on experience or active preparation for BRM 15 upgrades and cloud-native architecture.
• Familiarity with OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Docker, and containerized deployment models for BRM.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible) applied to billing platform deployment automation.
• Understanding of Oracle Converged Charging System (CCS) or monetization ecosystem integrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain end-to-end platform stability, performance, and uptime for enterprise BRM applications.
• Lead L3/L4 operational support, troubleshooting production incidents, and conducting root cause analysis (RCA).
• Plan, manage, and execute production changes, patches, configurations, and release deployments.
• Conduct ongoing capacity planning, system tuning, and infrastructure forecasting to support transaction volume growth.
• Drive platform modernization by establishing readiness and migration roadmaps for BRM 15 and OCI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional architecture, DevOps, and business teams to align billing features with business goals.
• Monitor key billing jobs, batch processes, rating, and invoicing pipelines to prevent revenue leakage.

Pay: ₹1,570,000.00 - ₹2,540,000.00 per year
