Senior Engineer – Building Solutions

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Building Solutions to develop and deliver technical solutions for building and construction projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to develop technical proposals, coordinate project requirements, resolve technical issues and provide practical, value-engineered solutions. The role will also support business growth through technical presentations, client engagement and maintenance or after-sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs, engineering solutions, calculations and system concepts for building and construction projects.
• Prepare technical proposals, tender submissions, specifications, presentations and project cost estimates.
• Work closely with clients, architects, M&E consultants, contractors and subcontractors to understand project requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Support the Sales team in client presentations, product demonstrations, technical discussions and solution-based proposals.
• Coordinate the technical aspects of projects from design development through installation, testing and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, safety standards, quality requirements and Company procedures.
• Recommend value-engineering and cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality, performance and safety standards.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution during project execution and post-installation stages.
• Guide and support junior engineers while monitoring project progress and key milestones.
• Identify technical opportunities, industry trends and potential maintenance or after-sales opportunities to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building solutions, building services, construction, automation systems, elevators & escalators, facilities engineering, smart building technologies or related industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of building and construction projects, including system design, specifications, calculations and engineering solutions.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, tender submissions, cost estimates and project documentation.
• Knowledge of maintenance, modernization or after-sales service operations within the building solutions industry would be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
