Senior Engineer (Business Development)

Responsibilities: -

1. General

• Identify and target potential customers by using various channels such as referral, past connections and recommendations from new customers
• Expand the existing customers base for energy efficiency projects, operation and maintenance for HVAC, cleanroom and data center projects.
• Explore collaboration with other parties to expand company’s business offering
• Identify requirements and develop solutions for Customer HVAC and Cleanroom needs.
• Prepare technical/commercial proposal and presentation to the client
• Ability to screen feasibility and identify risk of potential projects

2. Engineering Stage

• Assist in tender planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Prepare technical reports, presentation and proposals
• Ensure design is delivered in as per schedule
• Responsible to deliver committed deliverables
• Prepare tender scope of work, specification and BOQ
• Guide CAD designer to produce drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on design and other deliveries

3. Procurement Stage

• Response to technical queries from bidders
• Chair technical clarification session
• Evaluate technical submission from bidders and ensure bidders are comply with both technical and scope of works
• Produce technical comparison between bidders.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 7 years working experience in the design/business development for HVAC industry
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision
• Highly motivated with strong organizational, time management and marketing skills
• Ability to prioritize to meet strict deadlines
• Able to operate MS Excel, MS Words and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to travel and station at site when necessary

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
