Senior Engineer

BHA Construction, a respected contractor-developer operating throughout Leinster, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer.

This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, with responsibility for overseeing 2 large apartment projects in Dublin. The company has a strong reputation for quality residential delivery and maintains a pipeline of consistent, well-structured work.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Proven ability to use a Total Station confidently and accurately
• Strong setting-out experience on apartment developments
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Experience working with groundworks, concrete, drainage, and external works
• A proactive, problem-solving approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with site teams and subcontractors

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and evaluate complex systems, troubleshoot advanced technical issues, and implement innovative solutions.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer.
• Independently own critical services or domains, making trade-offs explicit and executing solutions with minimal supervision.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies; prepare certification plans and compliance documentation when applicable.
• Work with teams across engineering, program management, and suppliers to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and implement solutions that enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
