Senior Engineer

Job Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll lead civil infrastructure projects from early planning and design through permitting and construction. You’ll coordinate project schedules, guide technical work, communicate with clients, and help teams deliver practical, well-documented solutions. Your work may span stormwater systems, pipelines, water and wastewater treatment, and related infrastructure.

Duties

• Manage engineering projects, schedules, estimates, and construction activities; provide team leadership and support project engineering.
• Develop designs, schematics, and technical reports; perform hydrologic analysis, hydraulic calculations, stormwater management, and system design.
• Support permitting, construction inspection, field coordination, land surveying, and construction management.
• Your impact: Sound engineering decisions and clear client communication help communities and project teams plan, build, and maintain reliable infrastructure.
• Coordinate design and drafting across disciplines, including civil, geotechnical, and mechanical engineering.

Skills

• Essential: Civil engineering or related civil infrastructure experience; experience managing projects in an engineering role; project management, project scheduling, design engineering, construction experience, and technical writing.
• Essential: Technical proficiency with CAD software and drafting, including tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam.
• Preferred: GIS (geographic information systems) and ArcGIS; Mathcad; HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center) tools; SWMM (Storm Water Management Model); hydrologic modeling and other hydrologic analysis tools.
• Preferred: Construction estimating and management, construction inspection, permitting phase involvement, pipeline projects, stormwater systems, water treatment, wastewater treatment, hydraulics, and geotechnical engineering.

Pay: $117,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
