Senior Engineer-Cybersecurity

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer Palo Alto Networks firewalls using Panorama and/or Strata Cloud Manager.
• Configure and maintain security zones, security policies, NAT policies, App-ID, User-ID, SSL decryption and threat prevention profiles.
• Implement and troubleshoot IPSec site-to-site VPN and GlobalProtect remote-access connectivity.
• Diagnose complex network and security incidents involving routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, segmentation and firewall controls.
• Support Prisma Access, SASE and cloud-delivered security architecture initiatives while applying defense-in-depth and least-privilege principles.

Skills Required:

• 7 - 12 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network security or Palo Alto firewall administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation.
• Advanced Palo Alto Networks firewall administration through Panorama and/or Strata Cloud Manager.
• Practical cybersecurity knowledge covering security controls, common attack techniques, vulnerability and patch management, NIST concepts and the CIA triad.
• Proven VPN experience with IPSec site-to-site and GlobalProtect remote-access technologies.

Good to Have:

• CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge, PowerShell scripting and Python programming experience.

Education: B.Tech, B.Tech M.Tech (Dual) or MCA in a relevant discipline.
