Senior Engineer, Diffusion (擴散製程)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 主要職責

• Responsible for the operation, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), calibration and qualification of diffusion furnaces and related thermal processing equipment to ensure stable and reliable operation.  負責擴散爐及相關熱製程設備的運行、日常維護、預防性保養、校準及驗證，確保設備穩定可靠運作。
• Support the installation, setup, commissioning, qualification and acceptance of diffusion furnaces and related thermal processing equipment, ensuring operational readiness and successful process qualification.  負責或支援擴散爐及相關熱製程設備的安裝、配置、調試、驗證及驗收，確保設備具備投入運行條件並順利完成工藝驗證。
• Develop, maintain and optimise diffusion process recipes to improve process stability, product quality and yield performance.  負責擴散製程程序（Recipe）的建立、維護及優化，以提升製程穩定性、產品品質及良率表現。
• Monitor process performance and maintain relevant process and equipment records to support process optimisation and troubleshooting.  監察製程表現並維護相關製程及設備記錄，為工藝優化及異常排查提供支援。
• Drive process troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions, and yield improvement initiatives.  主導製程異常排查、根因分析、糾正及預防措施，以及良率改善工作。
• Collaborate closely with equipment, integration, facilities, quality, EHS and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful process qualification, timely issue resolution and operational readiness.  與設備、整合、設施、品質、環境健康安全（EHS）及其他相關團隊緊密協作，確保工藝驗證順利完成、問題及時解決及設備具備運行條件。
• Maintain 6S standards and ensure compliance with cleanroom operational, safety and EHS requirements in the diffusion area.  維持擴散區域的6S標準，並確保符合無塵室運行、安全及環境健康安全要求。
• Manage tools, spare parts and consumables required for the daily operation of diffusion furnaces and related equipment.  管理擴散爐及相關設備日常運行所需的工具、備件及耗材。
• Prepare, maintain and update technical documentation, including SOPs, equipment installation and acceptance reports, qualification reports, process records and procurement-related technical documents.  編寫、維護及更新技術文件，包括SOP、設備安裝及驗收報告、驗證報告、製程記錄及採購相關技術文件。
• Participate in engineering evaluations, process qualifications, technology transfer activities and continuous improvement projects based on business and project requirements.  按業務及項目需求，參與工程評估、工藝驗證、技術轉移及持續改善項目。
• Provide technical and operational support as required and perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.  按需要提供技術及運營支援，並履行主管指派的其他相關職務。
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. 執行由上級指派的其它職務。

KEY REQUIREMENTS 主要職位要求

• A bachelor’s degree or above in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines. 持有微電子、電機工程、電子工程、材料科學、化學工程或其他相關工程學科的學士或以上學位。
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor process engineering, diffusion technology, furnace operation or a related manufacturing environment.  具三年以上半導體製程工程、擴散技術、爐管設備運行或相關製造環境的工作經驗。
• Hands-on experience with diffusion furnaces, oxidation furnaces, annealing furnaces or similar thermal processing equipment is preferred.  具擴散爐、氧化爐、退火爐或同類熱製程設備的實際操作經驗者優先。
• Familiarity with semiconductor process qualification, process troubleshooting, yield improvement and root cause analysis methodologies.  熟悉半導體工藝驗證、製程異常排查、良率改善及根因分析方法。
• Experience in SiC, GaN, power devices or compound semiconductor manufacturing will be an advantage.  具碳化矽（SiC）、氮化鎵（GaN）、功率器件或化合物半導體製造經驗者優先。
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and common engineering software tools is preferred.  具良好的分析及問題解決能力；熟悉Microsoft Excel及常用工程軟件工具者優先。
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functional teams.  具良好溝通及團隊合作能力，能與不同職能團隊有效協作。
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment.  能適應無塵室工作環境。
• Good command in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua and Cantonese. 具備良好的英語及中文能力，包括普通話及廣東話。

WORK LOCATION 工作地點

• Microelectronics Centre (MRDI FAB), Yuen Long InnoPark, Yuen Long Industrial Estate
  元朗工業邨元朗創新園微電子中心

The actual rank and position offered will be commensurate with the applicant's qualifications and experience. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A gratuity of 15% of the salary will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the contract. The initial employment contract spans 24 months and can be renewed with a longer tenure upon mutual agreement of the incumbent and MRDI. 實際職位及級別將按申請人的資歷及經驗釐定。薪酬將按資歷及經驗釐定。合約期滿並工作表現滿意者，將獲發相當於合約期內總所得薪酬15%的約滿酬金。初始聘用合約為24個月，並可在僱員及僱主雙方同意下延長。
