Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate electrical and mechanical works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily electrical or mechanical project activities.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, costs and manpower to ensure timely completion.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor material procurement, delivery schedules and site requirements.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Identify technical issues, resolve site problems and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and review progress reports, work schedules, site documentation and project claims.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on project progress and issues.
• Supervise and guide project engineers, supervisors and site personnel.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing, commissioning and project handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in electrical or mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E installation, project coordination and site management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, material planning and subcontractor coordination.
• Good leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project scheduling software is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel or work at project sites as required.
