Senior Engineer – Energy

Job Summary
Responsible for supporting and managing energy-related engineering projects, including project feasibility studies, technical analysis, project planning, implementation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on energy efficiency, energy conservation, electrical systems, and energy data monitoring to support CPF’s sustainability and energy management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project proposals, technical presentations, and supporting documentation for energy-related projects.
• Conduct Feasibility Studies, including technical, operational, and preliminary economic analysis, to evaluate project viability and support management decision-making.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor energy engineering projects to ensure successful implementation within defined scope, timeline, and objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Analyze energy consumption data and develop appropriate Data Monitoring systems for energy performance tracking and reporting.
• Support the design and development of systems for data collection, visualization, monitoring, and control of energy-related information.
• Apply knowledge of energy conservation, energy efficiency, electrical power systems, and electrical control systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in the development and implementation of energy-saving projects across CPF facilities in Thailand and overseas.
• Prepare project progress reports, technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement energy and sustainability projects.
• Perform site visits, technical assessments, and project inspections at factories and operational sites as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to energy management, energy efficiency, and sustainable engineering.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Energy Engineering
  • Energy Management
  • Engineering Management
  • or other related engineering fields.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in energy engineering, electrical engineering, energy conservation, project engineering, or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Electrical Power Systems and Electrical Control Systems.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency.
• Experience in energy data analysis, energy monitoring, or energy management systems will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to use AutoCAD for engineering drawings and related applications.
• Knowledge or experience in Python, C Programming, and PLC will be an advantage.
• Experience with PVsyst or solar PV system analysis will be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies.
• Ability to prepare professional technical presentations and communicate project information effectively.

• Detail-oriented, observant, responsible, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Good command of English, particularly in technical communication and documentation.
• Willing and able to travel and work at project sites both domestically and internationally.
• Possess a valid driving license and personal vehicle.
• Able to work at the Fortune Town Office, Bangkok, as well as provincial project sites when required.
