Senior Engineer / Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise roadworks, including excavation, pavement construction, road reinstatement, footpaths, kerbs, drainage and associated utility interfaces.
• Prepare and coordinate TTA proposals, drawings, submissions and implementation plans to suit construction sequencing and site conditions.
• Manage XP applications and follow-up actions through the Excavation Permit Management System (XPMS), including permit extensions, advance notifications and completion submissions.
• Liaise with the consultant, Highways Department, Transport Department, Hong Kong Police Force, utility undertakings and relevant stakeholders on traffic arrangements, permit matters and construction interfaces.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to implement approved traffic arrangements and execute works safely and efficiently.
• Prepare method statements, works programmes, technical submissions, inspection requests and progress reports.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, permit conditions and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve site constraints, utility conflicts and construction interface issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of civil experience;
• A Civil Engineering degree is required;
• Chartered status will be given priority;
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Engineer.
