Senior Engineer - HVAC

• Supervise and manage HVAC installation works including chilled water systems, DX systems, VRF/VRV, ventilation, smoke management, and pressurization systems

• Ensure HVAC works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements

• Plan daily and weekly HVAC activities and allocate manpower, tools, and equipment

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals for compliance and constructability

• Coordinate HVAC works with plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, ELV, civil, and architectural teams

• Resolve site issues related to duct routing, pipework, equipment installation, and access

• Implement quality control procedures for HVAC works

• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs) and ensure approvals

• Oversee testing activities including pressure testing, flushing, duct leakage testing, and TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing)

• Support commissioning, system start-up, and final handover documentation

• Ensure HVAC activities comply with project HSE policies and safe work practices

• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with lifting plans, work at height, and confined space requirements

• Identify HVAC-related hazards and ensure risk control measures are implemented

• Monitor HVAC progress against the construction schedule

• Identify delays, interface issues, and constraints and propose corrective actions

• Coordinate material procurement, delivery, and installation sequencing

• Supervise HVAC foremen, technicians, and subcontractors

• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and quality standards

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports

• Maintain records of inspections, testing, approvals, and site instructions

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8–12 years of experience in HVAC works
