Senior Engineer (IT Network)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily operational support of the IP network infrastructure.
• Oversee the revamping of the network, strengthen solution design, and improve availability.
• Serve as a technical expert in enterprise and data center level IP network, switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, WiFi networks and VPN connectivity.
• Implement, monitor, coordinate, review, and maintain both wired and wireless networks.
• Conduct regular performance and security controls, including but not limited to firewalls, IPS, WAF, VPN gateways, proxies, and load balancers.
• Perform system upgrades, preventive maintenance, drill tests on networks, and engage in performance benchmarking and capacity planning.
• Responsible for network administration and troubleshooting across the entire network.
• Perform emergency call-out (ECO) duties, follow up on support issues, and conduct fault isolation and troubleshooting.
• Participate in regular PCI and ISO audits exercise.
• Prepare and review documentation, including network diagrams, SOPs, user guides, statistical analysis reports, PCI and ISO documents.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• At least 6+ years working experience, and technical background in network infrastructure design, implementation, and support
• Strong operational background and hands-on experience in data center and office LAN, WAN and Wifi networking pertaining to large segmented network
• Sound knowledge in common security technology for all surface of threat attack protection
• Good problem solving and analytic skills in trouble-shooting network implementation and operation issue
• CCNA/CCNP holder is an advantage
• Need to work overtime when required
• Self-motivated and able to meet timelines
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience can be considered as Engineer
