Senior Engineer - IT Solutions Design and Development

Job Purpose:

Maintain and optimize RTA’s application and integration platforms, ensuring uninterrupted service, rigorous change execution, and data-driven improvements that advance the digital-strategy roadmap and enterprise-architecture standards.

Strategy

• Support implementation plans and the automation roadmap, aligning system upgrades, budgets, and timelines with RTA’s digital strategy and enterprise architecture.

• Contribute data and risk insights to business cases for new automation and integration initiatives, aiding strategic prioritisation and resource planning.

Operations

• Manage the centralized repository of applications and associated support contracts, ensuring updated platform, technology, vendor, and server details are maintained in relevant enterprise tools.

• Manage systems touch-point integrations, judging change impacts on design and architecture and orchestrating smooth implementation across departments.

• Manage the lifecycle of change and bug fix requests, including classification, assessment, prioritization, issue escalation, and continuous improvement of related standards.

Product/Process Improvement

• Analyse usage metrics and service-delivery gaps, recommending enhancements that raise efficiency, licence reuse, and customer satisfaction.

• Research emerging technologies and model new processes, updating change-management standards and mitigation plans to strengthen reliability and governance compliance.

Education: Bachelor's degree/master’s degree in IT/computer science, Systems Engineering

Experience: 3+ years in case of master’s degree (5+ years in case of bachelor’s degree) in related field

Qualification : PMP Certification
